40 Years of DATAGROUP – Growing Together!

On October 1, 2023, DATAGROUP celebrated its 40th anniversary. A reason to celebrate and to give back to nature. That’s why we launched a special initiative for the anniversary year and the years to come. In collaboration with ForstBW, DATAGROUP is creating the DATAGROUP FOREST on a fallow forest area in the Black Forest.

For this initiative, DATAGROUP relied on the extraordinary commitment of its employees and the support of customers, business partners, and investors, just as it does in its core business of IT services. Throughout the anniversary year, they all earned points through their dedication and “good deeds.”

We did it: 40 years of DATAGROUP, 40,000 points, 4,000 trees!

The goal was to reach 40,000 points, equivalent to 4,000 trees. This goal was achieved three months ahead of schedule. But we didn’t stop there: we continued to collect points diligently and ultimately amassed a total of 56,752 points for the DATAGROUP FOREST, equivalent to 5,675 trees.

We are very proud of the diverse social, athletic, ecological, cultural, and health-focused efforts and initiatives that earned points for the DATAGROUP FOREST. Together, we are making a climate-resilient and innovative forest of the future possible.

For 365 days, we were on a mission to earn points for DATAGROUP FOREST. Together with our employees, customers, business partners, and all of the company’s friends, we exceeded our goal and began planting the first trees.

Goal Achieved

Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the goal was achieved. But it doesn’t stop here: we’re keeping going! Every social, athletic, environmental, cultural, or health-related effort is still rewarded with points for the DATAGROUP FOREST. This is how we’re making an even larger, more diverse, climate-resilient, and innovative forest of the future possible.
